A large sandy shore stretches far throughout NightClan territory. In certain areas, the sand collects into large sand dunes, which are dangerous for apprentices and small warriors. NightClan cats have to walk on their toes to avoid sinking into the sand! Also in areas, the sand is hard and stiff- leaving a beautiful place to train apprentices. Seagulls roam the shores, but are difficult to catch. Large trees without branches are bountiful here, and they are known to the clans as Sandtrees.

A beautiful small pool, connected to the Sundrowned Place, leaves a rich and colorful tidepool. Creatures such as crabs and small fish roam the pool, and small rocks make it a wonderful spot to catch small prey. It provides a great place to meet and a romantic spot to talk, due to the dip of the pool in the sand. The Shadepool barely gets any sun, due to the cliffs surrounding it, and during Leafbare the pool is covered in ice.

NightClan shores are usually rock-free, except for a small area near the Moon River. Large reddish rocks cover the sand, which are warmed by the sun every day. Tiny pools form in the cracks of the rocks, but are often warm and sticky due to the suns rays. The rocks leave a relaxing spot to talk and share memories.

A large expanse of salty water stretches past the horizon, constantly rising and ebbing from the sandy shores. The fish are good to eat here, but are difficult to catch. Be careful not to be swept away from the monstrous waves crashing here. Once you go to far in, it is doubtful that you will come back.

A small twoleg shack is raised high above the sand. If a cat manages to climb inside of it, they will find small mice and rodents as easy prey. But in greenleaf, the twolegs clean out the shack and inhabit the section around it for about 2 moons. Cats are in shock as the strange hairless creatures swim in the powerful current of the water for nothing more than fun!
