"Poppywind!" Shadowpaw cried out, but resisted the urge to flee behind her mentor. Nudging Briarpaw, Shadowpaw motioned for him to follow her. Slashing at every FrostClan cat she could touch, Shadowpaw slowly made her way over to near where her mentor was. She then fought there, slashing any cat that came within a meter of her mentor.
ooc// Just to make sure, do Med. Cats treat all warriors who are hurt, or just their clan?? I wasn't sure, sorry. ;-;

occ// Yeah, Mosseh-lee, Silver's laying out on the battle-field, in serious need of med care... bic// Briarpaw followed Shadowpaw to Poppywind, but then he saw a small, silver tabby laying in the fray of battle.

Mutestar let out a hiss as she pushed her claws into Hawkstar's shoulders; her fangs slipping out and grabbing his neck as she spoke; "Frostclan side? We agreed with that far tree back there!" she hissed sinking her teeth into his neck feeling the blood in her mouth. The ghostly white she-cat knew she will never win this fight, since Frostclan was much bigger; but something deep inside her thoughts wanted to see how Frostclan gets there ways all the time. Or maybe it was because she was in Frostclan when she was little and she was trying to bring back her memories in her mind. Something was happening to Mutestar and she couldn't even really fix it herself, until she knew what it was or what is bugging her. Fadingspirit yowled with pain, closing his eyes tight as his rage grew stronger and stronger. He let out a growl. His eye - lids dripping with wet warm blood. Fadingspirit stared with a firey tempt at Briarpaw. His claws unleashed but then slid back in when he glanced at Mutestar and Hawkstar. This battle is almost over. he tought. occ; And old habbits! sorry, about Poppyseed. -stabs a plushie to get rid of anger-

Duskpaw stood frozen on the edge of the battlefield, hidden behind a bit of shrubbery that afforded him protection from any fighting cats who might not recognize him in the heat of battle. He shook as he stared at the dreadful scene - though he'd witnessed and even been involved in a few skirmishes before, never had anything like this happened in his memory, and he didn't have the warrior training to prepare his mind for it. He wasn't even supposed to be here; he was supposed to be back at camp, watching Firefall, who was still recovering from an early but severe case of whitecough. However, the fierce cat had insisted he was fine, and told Duskpaw to do what his medicine cat's heart was urging him to do: to go to the battle and save his Clanmate's lives. It had not taken too much convincing.
But now Duskpaw realized he'd no idea what to do. There were places nearby he knew he could get the herbs he would need, but he didn't know where his mentor Iceflower was and wasn't sure he should let her see him anyway. Breaking rules was unlike the quiet tom, and he wasn't sure how to go about it. He was watching Mutestar and Hawkstar wrestle with a kind of horrified fascination and still trying to make up his mind whether to stay or leave when he shifted his gaze and saw Poppywind standing by a tree gasping for air. But, no, Seabird was injured over there, and there was...his head spun. Duskpaw cursed himself for wasting so much, time, and as he gathered himself to leap into the field and start doing something useful, his eyes finally came to rest on the still figure on the ground. Silverwind. She seemed the worst injured, and in the most danger. With a quick bound over his bush, he streaked towards her, weaving in between hissing and slashing groups of cats with an ease he didn't know he possessed, praying he reached the fallen warrior in time.
OOC// Duskpaw to the rescue! I hope. And, why is there stabbing or poor defenseless plushies?

Hawkstar let out a yowl of pain. He let go of Mutestar's paw and squirmed under her grasp, finally managing to get out. He stood there, blood pouring from his wounds. "Yes, and Frostclan has always stayed on their side, as has Stormclan. Until today. Take your clan back, Mutestar. I don't want to fight. What does territory mean now, when all the prey is gone? You can take the upper part of the Grassy Plains, over there. Are you satisfied? Is your bloodthirsty heart satiated?" He hissed, though he was weary. He knew Frostclan could win... but he truly did not wish to fight. His clan wouldn't be too much affected by that little spot of territory. It wasn't that rich in prey, but he was sure it had some valuable herbs... but the medicine cats could go elsewhere for those. It would be fine... as long as Mutestar didn't want more. Then he would fight to the death. Frostclan needed as much territory as possible to survive. [/sup]

ooc//Oops, sorreh. ^^;;;;;;;
bic// Out of the corner of her eye, Desertpaw saw a silver glint, and turned her attention to it. Silverwind! She thought in dismayed and practically slapped herself for not paying attention. Racing over there, she noticed Duskpaw, the other Medicine Cat apprentice going over to the fallen deputy as well. If Silverwind dies now, I'll never forgive myself. Desertwind thought forcefully to herself before looking at Silverwind. "Let's get her out of the middle of battle and to the sidelines," Desertpaw mewed to Duskpaw and then lifted the body with his help and carried her out of harm's way. She then frantically began to check and help the deputy before she forced herself to calm down slightly when she began to mix up aligments and herbs.

Mutestar spat down as blood dripped against her face. Her ghostly white pelt soaked in the wet warm fresh blood. She looked at Hawkstar and stared at him with hostile icey blue eyes. Something wrong with me..something terrible wrong. I would never fight over something so usless as the words repeated in her mind. Bloodthristy heart! she shook her head and stood strong. "Keep...your clan off of ..Stormclan terr.". she hissed and let out a yowl as she singled her cats back towards Stormclan camp.
Mutestar looked at Hawkstar with angry and a bit of confused. Was it because of the earthquake from the gathering? The ghostly white she-cat didn't take her eyes off of the tom, with blood covering half of his pelt. I can't be bloodthristy..I just can't.. her thoughts whirling in her mind. Shaking her head a bit she hurried off to Stormclan camp again. occ;; Mutestar is really a sweetheart. x3 But for reason, evil is fun to play sometimes. I was thinking maybe Mutestar can have the land loosing a life with that taking her evil side away. But that is for another day. -skips off-

"No, Mutestar. Keep Stormclan out of Frostclan territory," replied Hawkstar before gathering up his clan. He saw Silverwind and limped over to her, his vision swimming. "Silverwind... c'mon, Silverwind... you can't die now. Not until you have nine lives. Let's go," Hawkstar said. He called another Frostclan warrior over and, with the warrior's help, lifted Silverwind up and began to go back to their makeshift camp, the rest of Frostclan behind him. Poppywind saw Mutestar leaving and tried to walk, but it hurt to walk, or even move. She had barely taken three steps before she was panting from the exhaustion. Still, the brave warrior padded on, limping as she went.[/sup]

[glow=lightblue,2,300]Of course, just because the rest of StormClan had left didn't mean Iceflower would.
This battle was one of the few times her small size came in handy - she could slip between the fighting warriors and apprentices to locate those who actually needed help, StormClan or FrostClan, it didn't matter. It wasn't very hard to figure out who Iceflower was - after all, not many cats ran around with a white-and-black-spotted pelt the size of an apprentice. She'd spent the battle trying to slip between the ranks without getting slashed too badly - recognizable or not, sometimes adrenaline and momentum damaged cats more than anything.
She'd only just spotted Silverwind, the FrostClan deputy, when Desertpaw and...Duskpaw...showed up. Wasn't Duskpaw supposed to be with Firefall back at camp? Then again, Cranepelt could probably deal with that fine. Oh well.
The two apprentices had moved Silverwind out of the battle together, and Iceflower slipped over just in time to see Hawkstar and another warrior take Silverwind. Well. The cat was out of her paws now, and Iceflower hoped fervently that she wouldn't die. She hated it when cats died.
"Duskpaw, we better go," she said quietly to her apprentice. "There's nothing more we can do."[/glow]
((-doesn't feel like posting for Moonshadow- She was there. Got a bunch of shallow cuts, nothing too bad, and bone-tired. But whatever.))

Briarpaw, seeing Mutestar was leaving, sprinted over to Poppywind and called to his apprentice friend, "Shadowpaw, help me get Poppywind out if here! Poppywind, lean on me until we get back to camp, all right?"

"You're too short. Go get a warrior," Poppywind said, not wanting to squish Briarpaw if she fell. A fellow warrior would be better than a small, tiny, squishable apprentice. [/sup]

Stubbornly, Shadowpaw stayed put with Poppywind leaning on her. "No way, I'll help you, not prance around while you're in pain. I'd rather go exploring rogue territories than abandon you." Shadowpaw told Poppywind crisply, seeing as she was about to argue about Shadowpaw being to small to support Poppywind without being squished.

Thornfire was in the midst of the fighting. He hated fighting, and hated the tension between clans but StormClan was his clan, and as deputy he knew he had to fight to the death, He saw his leading retreating to the StormClan territroy and wondered what kind of exchange had gone on between the two leaders. He shook his pelt, drops of crimson blood splattering the grass before hurrying off behind the clan.

Briarpaw nodded, "As if we'd abandon you. You're her mentor, and you're clan. And I'm not about to separate clan from clan."

Duskpaw nodded silently at his mentor, agreeing to follow Iceflower back to camp. As suddenly as it had begun the battle was over...and it seemed nothing had been won, though many things might be lost. He cast a pained gaze over at Silverwind, but she was in another medicine cat's paws now. He had his own Clan to care for. Trailing after the weary warriors, Duskpaw's trained golden eyes roved over the clan, taking in wounds and judging as best he could how severe each was. Though Iceflower was far more experienced than he and probably noticed many things he was surely missing, he reported his findings in soft mews. "Seabird's bleeding a good deal, and she can barely walk at all, let alone without the support from the other two...Poppywind's limping pretty badly too. She needs a taller warrior to help her than Briarpaw or Shadowpaw..." As he could hardly be called any bigger than either apprentice, he stayed by his mentor's side, stolidly ignoring the cuts he himself had managed to accumulate. He would take care of them when he could; when no other cat needed him.
