Hazelstar padded around her camp, searching for a warrior who would be willing to accompany her on her journey.
She knew that her warriors were busy repairing the camp, so she didn't want to interrupt their good work. She figured that when a warrior was finished they'd go find her.
((any takers?))

Damppaw heard her leader's call, and dutifully bounded up to her. Hazelstar herself had asked the apprentice to come with her, and she was not missing this chance. "I'm here!" she called out excideditley, and Damppaw's paws twinged with anticipation.

"Ey, if you're gonna take a mere apprentice, why don'tcha take an old elder like me, too?" Halfears face widened to a cheesy smile.

Tearpool's jade pools glittered in the gloom. Hazelstar bounded over to him her leaps graceful and well practiced. Her creamy pelt laughed as the breeze rustled through and the charcoal specks pranced off in the oncoming eve. Words like lovely, gorgeous, and intriguing bolted through his head. Suddenly his face flushed under his handsome mask he was thinking about his leader like a lover would. What next would he be having visions of the medicine cats besides, she was quite some moons older. Scorning himself he looked away. This could not be true he could not feel for his leader in this way but the more he pushed his thoughts away the more determined they became
Here is Tearpool's dreamy face (lol) : www.tojopolaris.no/cats/outdoor_pics/frankie/2_4_years/frankie06.jpg
Relieved Tearpool became when the apprentice waltzed over. This apprentice would take his mind off his little 'drama'. Listening intently to the apprentice he spoke after her saying, "I'll accompany you two to the Moon Pool" His melodic voice tumbled out of his mouth like his muscled shoulders rolled with each stride.

occ|| Halfear, did you know that becoming and elder is by choice. I do not know if anyone here has read the Warriors Field Guide but I will type out the ceremony it gives. So in your elder ceremony this is how it would go.
"Halfear, is it your wish to give up the name of warrior and go to join the elders?" "It is." "Your clan honors you and all the service you have given us. I call upon StarClan to give you many seasons of rest"

ooc|| My point is that Halfear does not exactly act like a cool and controlled NightClan member. He should be accepting that he is an elder because he chose to become one. Besides, warriors do not beg they ask and if denied the civilly walk away.

Yeah I think Halfear went a tad bit insane after he turned to elder ^^ Hazelstar smiled at Tearpool- her deputy had looked a bit distraught for a moment.
Quickly brushing that aside, she looked towards the annoying elder Halfear. "Stay here and guard the camp," she said, half-heartedly. At least he had some use to this world.
Hazelstar bounded to the entrance of camp with Damppaw and Tearpool following.
To the Sunpool... she thought. Maybe StarClan can give us some answers!I'll post a link right here (to avoid a double post) warriorsrenewal.proboards101.com/index.cgi?board=theshores&action=display&thread=1199485852
